Categorisation of different aspects of a peject according to time taken by individual aspect. Project is further bisected intro events and activities, with are placed in relevant order (called paths). The longest path connecting all the aspects is called the critical path. A delay in one aspect of the project leads to increase in critical path. Lastly, PERT does not help find the most efficient, time-wise and economically, to complete an action.
