In general, an entity that fails to be where intended, when intended, without notification. 1. Passenger who fails to cancel a reservation or show up for a trip. All other reservations, like for connecting flights will likely be cancelled by the carrier, who may not refund any portion of the ticket price. 3. Shipper who does not deliver a booked shipment to the carrier. May still have to pay full freight, especially if no replacement is found. 4. Traveler who misses a reserved room without cancelling with the hotel. One night’s room charges is the typical penalty.
