VERDICT ADVERSE
a verdict where a person gets a verdict in his favour but for less than the originally allowed amount.
VERDICT COMPROMISE
verdict resulting from a compromising of one or more jurors on a matter of principle in exchange for compromise from other jurors on another issue in the case.
VERDICT CONTRARY TO LAW
the term that is applied to a verdict that the jury was entitled to render by law.
VERDICT DIRECTED
the name that is given to the verdict that is directed by the judge to the jury.
