What is FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD (FASB)

A US selfregulatory advisory panel that is responsible for creating and promulgating accounting standards for certified public accountants via the Statements of Financial Accounting Standards, the core of US GENERALLY ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES (GAAP).
