The CFO is accountable for all accounting functions including: (1) control over credit, (2) budgets and financial statements preparation , (3) financing and fund raising coordination, (4) expenditure and liquidity monitoring, (5) investment and taxation issues management, (6) financial performance reporting to the board, and (7) providing to the CEO up-to-date financial data. The CFO is also known as the controller, or comptroller , or finance controller, or chief finance officer.
