What is PARTICIPATING GUARANTEED INVESTMENT CONTRACT (GIC)

A contract giving an investor a share of earnings from an asset portfolio. This happens when a profit occurs. Refer to nonparticipating guaranteed investmen contract and synthetic guaranteed investment contract.
