What is MARLBRIDGE, STATUTE OF

An English statute enacted in 1207 (52 nen. III.) at Marlbridge, (now called “Marlbor- ough,”) where parliament was then sitting. It related to land tenures, and to procedure, and to unlawful and excessive distresses.
